 Lloyd Sports + Engineering is thrilled and excited to formally announce that Ms. Valerie Ahyong, PLA, has joined the firm. After receiving her Masters in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University, Valerie has built a statewide level of credibility as a multi-faceted landscape architect cultimating in the selection by her peers as the 2021-22 President of the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (AZASLA). Over her 15 year career, Valerie has demonstrated a broad range of skills including designer, leader, strategist, and project manager. Her career-long engagements in the Phoenix Metro area including strong ties with Arizona State University, the private development sector, the public sector, and the builder community will be a great addition to an already strong team at Lloyd.
Valerie will strengthen the great, well-rounded Lloyd team of civil engineers, planners, sports engineers and landscape architects serving the Phoenix area and beyond. Lloyd’s current clients at Tempe Union High School District, Bell Bank Sports Park, and ASU’s new Intercollegiate Athletics Beach Volleyball Venue, will realize an immediate impact from Valerie’s contributions and skills. Lloyd, founded in August 2009 is known for delivering cutting edge sports playing surfaces from the highest level of sports; NCAA, NFL, MLB, and MLS to leading the planning and execution of multi-disciple venues for communities, educational institutions, and private developers.
