Maricopa Unified School District originally opened its first doors in 1955.  66 years later the District is pleased to announce the ground breaking for High School #2.   Lloyd Sports + Engineering is proud to be a partner with the School District and provide a future learning facility for the community.
The new project site is located at the southwest corner of Murphy and Farrell Road.  The site is planned to develop a total of 65 acres within two phases.  The first phase will develop approximately 37 acres that will consist of two buildings, a parking facility, and a track and field facility.  Lloyd provided engineering design for all offsite improvements, roads, water, sewer, and reclaimed water for over a mile of improvements to the project site.  Lloyd also provided onsite design for the infrastructure.
Construction will begin June 2021 and school opening is anticipated July 2022.

Monterey Peninsula College Update Complete

5/6/2021

Exciting things are happening at Monterey Peninsula College. Over the past two years Lloyd Sports + Engineering has worked with the College to refresh the football stadium turf and reconstructed the new Lobos’ baseball field.
The football field replaced the existing turf with the newest technology in synthetic turf and shock/drain pads creating a vibrant look with the highest quality of play.

The baseball field finished a full reconstruction of a new synthetic turf field & bullpens in January of 2021. Using the Lloyd team’s experience and knowledge the field was realigned to provide a deeper outfield and better use of foul lines to meet the needs of NCAA athletes.
