In honor of National Coaches Day, we applaud our team members who transform into "Coaches" after their 9-to-5! 🎉🏆
One star is Justin Peterson, one of our Senior Associates. Justin's got a trophy case full of experience in wrestling, baseball, and lacrosse! 🤼⚾🥍
“I originally got involved in coaching because the teams were in need of help, but as a youth and former collegiate athlete, I realized it was important to give back and provide the knowledge and experience that I gained throughout my career.
My definition of a good coach is someone that can listen, has patience, and is willing to go the extra mile to help an athlete succeed. It is beyond just thinking about winning the game or match, but about focusing on both individual and team improvement. When coaching, I emphasize on the attitude and effort given by the athlete. A positive attitude and 100% effort result in victory no matter what the final score may be.
My role as a coach is tremendously reflected in my work at Lloyd. I love to mentor younger staff members and am always willing to put in the extra help on any project where is needed.”
Happy National Coaches Day to all, especially to the coaches who play a major role in the projects we work on!
