We were pleased to sponsor the 14th hole at Arizona Grand Resort last week for the Tempe Union High Schools Education Foundation. The Lloyd team working the booth handed out fun games and prizes to the winners at the 14th hole, as groups played through. The big competition for the day was "Closest to the Pin", with the winner having the honor of designating Lloyd’s $1,000 grant to the school of their choice. Our winner, John Ford of Vitalyst Health Foundation, hit his shot to 7’-4” and chose McClintock High School to receive the grant. We were thrilled to be out at the event supporting Tempe Union and the community.
Thank you and a job well done to the Tempe Union High Schools Education Foundation. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come out and support the TUHSD, while enjoying a fun round of golf.
This fall, Lloyd is finishing up new synthetic turf fields at Desert Vista and Tempe High Schools. The project included replacing the existing natural grass field with a new synthetic turf playing field complete with drainage and stormwater collection, new track and field improvements, new d-zones, and stormwater drainage and retention enhancements across the site.
