The grass is greener at Casteel and Basha High Schools with synthetic turf installation underway on their respective stadium fields! 👀
With five (5) schools in the district currently under construction, the Lloyd Team has been keeping busy observing the construction progress. 🦺 The new synthetic turf fields will provide the school and student athletes the ability to use the field for longer hours, train and play on a high performance surface and generate school spirit with team colors, logos and graphics custom to each school. 📣🏫 Nice work to all the parties involved this far, we can't wait to see the finished product! Lloyd is excited to announce the completion of Waterford School’s first synthetic turf field! Located in Sandy, Utah, preserving the site’s view of the breathtaking Wasatch Mountain Range was a must.⛰️Originally an empty and unused area on campus, Waterford’s soccer and lacrosse programs will benefit from the synthetic field surface.🥍⚽
Lloyd is grateful to have been able to work, alongside Waterford School, EDA Architects, Okland, and FieldTurf, as the project field designer/ specialist! In addition to the field, Lloyd also provided grading, drainage, irrigation, and safety netting expertise.🌟 Lloyd team members, Bob Milano, Jr., Justin Peterson, and Patrick Beazley had a great time connecting with everyone at the 2024 NIRSA Annual Conference + Campus Rec & Wellness Expo! 🌵 Thanks to everyone who came and visited our booth last week!

Lloyd values its Landscape Architects and the vital role they play in our sports field and facility designs. 🙌🌿
A Landscape Architect has the tools to blend functionality with aesthetics to create optimal environments for athletic performance and spectator experience. Every site is different, which is where curating tailored solutions comes into play. After analyzing the existing conditions of a site, considering environmental factors such as location, climate, surrounding views, grading, and stormwater management, can help narrow down the best design decisions for a successful project. Because Landscape Architects have the ability to look at the “big picture,” they can excel in conceptualizing spatial layouts that optimize quality, circulation, user experience, and environmental stewardship. 🌳 We are loving celebrating #WLAM here at Lloyd! 🎉 |
