As a principal with Lloyd, a former collegiate athlete, and a licensed civil engineer, he has completed a wide range of both civil and sports engineering projects worldwide. His expertise in natural grass and artificial turf, as well as synthetic track systems, is a benefit to his clients as he provides an unbiased, and thorough recommendation for systems which meet client needs, budget, and maintenance requirements.

Bob Milano Jr., PrincipalMr. Milano brings over 35 years of sports facilities expertise in a wide range of former roles, including management of a large operations and maintenance organization, sports turf manager, stadium manager, and as a director of capital projects. Mr. Milano's extensive experience includes direct knowledge of nearly every Summer Olympic competitive sport. In addition, his experience on the owners side for over two decades has given him a unique perspective in programming, scheduling, branding, operations, and life-cycle costs of any planned development or site renovation project.

Brett Long, pLA, Associate Principal Mr. Long has over 27 years of diverse professional experience in landscape architecture, with a broad range of work in public parks, sports, recreation, school campuses, resort developments, and urban spaces. As a former collegiate decathlete and track and field coach, he utilizes this experience to bring a unique perspective to the design of sports and recreation facilities. He believes that each project has the opportunity to create beautiful spaces, resource efficient landscaping, and sustainable design, all while meeting the client’s programming and budgetary needs.

Justin Peterson, PE, Associate PrincipalMr. Peterson brings over 23 years of complex civil engineering, sports park development, and project management experience. His applied technical skill sets include heavy civil engineering, design, and delivery in both public and private development projects. His years of experience in both engineering and in the field has made him a well rounded engineering, leader, and mentor. He plays a major role in mentoring Lloyd staff and supporting various teams and projects throughout design and construction.

Zach Temple, PE, senior AssociateMr. Temple has been working as a sports field and irrigation engineer for over 17 years, and is responsible for technical design, construction documentation, and construction observation services. His design expertise includes synthetic turf fields, sand based premium natural grass fields, running tracks, drainage systems, and irrigation systems. Mr. Temple also provides irrigation design for all Lloyd projects, including large site central control systems, pumping systems, landscape drip systems, natural grass sports field irrigation, and synthetic turf cooling systems for both private development and municipal projects.

Jane's early career in construction provided valuable experience in project management, site analysis, and building techniques, which enhances her approach to landscape architecture. Jane has worked on a range of sports facilities, from high-profile venues to multi-sports complexes and outdoor recreational spaces. She focuses on creating functional, sustainable, and user-centered designs that balance aesthetic appeal with technical requirements. Through her technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration, Jane ensures each project positively impacts both the community and the environment.

Tisha Lance, Director of IT, AssociateMs. Lance is the Director of IT, and is responsible for the management of technical design, internal team coordination, and data workflow for all projects. With over 30 years of experience, she provides civil and sports engineering for municipal parks, higher education, K-12, and professional sports team projects. As Director of IT, Ms. Lance manages the firm’s technology and data and security, including hardware and software, CAD standards, and staff training.

Valerie Ahyong, pLA, AssociateMs. Ahyong’s design passion is in master planning, site design, and arid-region landscapes, and she enjoys working on visual graphics, utilizing her marketing and graphics background. Ms. Ahyong believes that every project element serves a meaningful purpose to a site - from detailed aesthetics, safety and screening, to place making and way finding; all cohesively creating a sense of place. Ms. Ahyong has served as Chapter President for the AZ Chapter ASLA from 2021-2023, and has also recently been recognized by ENR Southwest as a 2024 Top Young Professional, and currently serves on the Chandler Education Foundation board.
