🏈 The Lloyd team had the honor of attending last night’s season opener at Hamilton HS, where the brand-new synthetic turf field stole the show! The game, broadcast regionally, brought out a massive crowd, all excited to witness the fast-paced action on this stunning new surface. 🌟 🙌 From concept to kick-off, it’s been an amazing journey to be part of the transformation! Chandler Unified School District now proudly boasts 5 newly renovated synthetic turf stadiums, setting the gold standard in the region. 🏟️✨ It was a thrilling contest with impressive skills on display from both teams, but the mighty Hamilton Huskies emerged victorious, 17-10! We’d like to think their new field played a part in the win! 😏🎉 A big thanks to CORE, FieldTurf, Elite Sports Builders, CUSD, Sportsfield Specialties and all involved on the project.  We're excited to attend this year’s APRA Conference in Tucson, Arizona—a key event highlighting the critical role our industry plays in shaping the future of sports and recreation. 🎉 Our work is driven by a passion for designing and engineering spaces that enhance community parks and recreational facilities. During the event, he had the honor of presenting alongside the University of Alabama's field managers. The focus of the presentation was to provide valuable insights and expertise on the renovation of the Bryant Denny Stadium Field. At Lloyd, we always appreciate the opportunity to share our knowledge and experiences in the industry, especially when it involves exciting projects like the reconstruction of Saban Field at Bryant Denny Stadium. 🌱🏈 Zach shared his perspective on the necessity of the playing field reconstruction and detailed the unique design and engineered solutions incorporated. He also emphasized the project's significance in the context of the evolution of college football. Additionally, Lloyd offered a distinctive perspective on the planning, evaluation, design, and scheduling processes that contributed to the University of Alabama's successful project execution. During our team retreat last week in Denver, Colorado, Lloyd had the privilege of meeting and learning from Beynon team members, Greg Hull and Mason Farnsworth. 📚🏃 The Lloyd team was intrigued to learn more about the Beynon track surfacing systems through product breakdown and physical sample examples. Also, provided us with some insight when designing and consulting track and fields! |
